Krafton recently confirmed that their next partnership is with Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures. The biggest Marvel and Sony movie, Spider-Man: Brand New Day, is set to be featured in BGMI as a returning themed mode. And it’s not just Spider-Man; I can bet that the BGMI 4.5 update is going to offer the massive and best theme mode among all the collaborations so far. As an anime fan, I am incredibly excited about the 4.5 update’s main theme mode.

BGMI 4.5 Update Release Date
The BGMI 4.5 update is expected to be released on July 16, 2026. As always, Android users will receive the update first, early in the morning at 6:30 AM. While iOS users will get it later, between 8:30 AM and 11:30 PM. Hopefully, there won’t be any issues in installing the game like there were with the 4.4 update, as iOS users had to wait an extra day to play the new version last time.
The PUBG Mobile 4.5 beta test is now live, where players can register to test the upcoming theme mode. In beta testing, players can play the new update; its sole purpose is to report bugs and make the game error-free in the final version. There are three phases of beta testing that will run from June 9 to June 25, and then the 4.5 update will be released in PUBG Mobile on July 9, 2026.

BGMI x Naruto Shippuden: Main Theme Mode
The New 4.5 update will feature Naruto Shippuden as the main theme mode. As hardcore anime fan, we will get to see characters like Naruto, Itachi, Madara, and Kakashi in the next update. And the cherry on top is that we will get special ninja abilities and gameplay mechanics based on the anime series Naruto.
Jutsu (Special Skills)
In the Naruto anime series, a jutsu is a special ninja technique, skill, and spell that a ninja uses in battle against an enemy. Such special abilities will be featured in the game, like Flying Raijin Jutsu, Chidori, Summoning Jutsu Reanimation and Rasengan. It’s going to be a lot of fun to use these anime-style skills in the game.
Naruto Prize Path
As part of the collaboration, Naruto prize path is coming to the game. You’ll be able to collect all the badass characters from the anime series such as Naruto Uzumaki, Sasuke Uchiha, Itachi Uchiha, Madara Uchiha, Kakashi Hatake, etc. Apart from character outfits, players will also receive voice packs, popularity items, tokens, vehicle skins, and weapon skins.
BGMI x Spider-Man: Brand New Day (Returning Mode)
BGMI collaborated with Marvel Studios in 2022 when Spider-Man: No Way Home was released. That same mode will be brought back in the game as a returning theme mode. Players will be able to choose whether they want to play the Naruto Shippuden or Spider-Man theme mode.
Spider-Man: Brand New Day is set to be released on July 31, 2026. As part of the partnership, players will get a Spider-Man themed mode in the Erangel Map, along with in-game special skills including web-shooters and web-grenades.
Spider-Man Lucky Spin
With this collaboration, players are expecting to get a lucky spin along with some freebies. However, the lucky spin is definitely coming, and it’ll also include the Spider-Man suit, daily login rewards, and crates. If you played the Spider-Man theme mode in 2022, I can understand how excited you are for the BGMI 4.5 update.
Ferrari Collaboration
BGMI is set to feature Scuderia Ferrari HP in its Speed Drift. The exact date hasn’t been revealed yet, but it’s confirmed that Ferrari will be included in the supercar and sports car skins in the BGMI 4.5 update.
PUBG Mobile confirmed the collaboration on its official X handle. Players will get to see supercars and top-tier coupes, sedans, and UAZ vehicles based on the Ferrari Supercars aur F1 theme.
